Nine South African cities will host the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 64 matches will be held in 10 stadiums. Two stadiums are in Johannesburg and the rest in the other host cities.

Johannesburg, Gauteng Province

Cape Town, Western Cape Province
Cape Town is the “mother city” of South Africa and the most popular tourist destination in the country. Situated at the foot of famous Table Mountain on the Atlantic Ocean, near winelands and surrounded by long white beaches, the city has a rich cultural life and a population of close to 3 million people. 3. Green Point Stadium in Cape Town has a capacity of 68 000 seats. World Cup matches: five first-round (11, 14, 18, 21, 24 June), one second-round (29 June), one quarter-final (3 July) and the third-place play-off (7 July).

Bloemfontein, Free State Province

The rustic, rural town of Rustenburg lies about 2 hours drive west from Pretoria in a heavily mined regions with platinum its main source of wealth. Nelspruit is part of the Mbombela Municipality, about 330 km east of Johannesburg.
